If you want to preserve your prosciutto beautifully and "freshly sliced", I offer a solution.

  • I will collect your prosciutto in Ljubljana, hand-slice it, place it in packaging bags, and vacuum seal it.
  • Within a few days, I will return it to you, ready to open and enjoy, almost as if it were freshly sliced.

Why vacuum-sealed prosciutto?

The benefits of vacuum-sealing hand-sliced prosciutto are multifaceted.

In vacuum packaging, all the organoleptic properties of the product are preserved, just as if you were eating it freshly sliced.

Practicality: The prosciutto is hand-sliced into the right size and thickness, the aroma and taste are preserved, even though you didn't need a prosciutto stand or special knives to slice it.

Safety: Slicing prosciutto can be risky, as it is a skill or an art in itself. Economy: You avoid purchasing slicing tools: prosciutto holders, knives, etc. The yield of prosciutto is higher (professional slicers, according to estimates, utilize 10% more prosciutto). At the same time, the qualities that prosciutto loses due to natural oxidation and drying from the moment it is cut into are preserved.
