Each prosciutto expresses the soul of its region, its traditions, and heritage.
The millennia-old tradition of curing prosciutto dates back to the Roman Empire and continues to evolve today. It intertwines history, culture, climate, and the characteristics of landscapes from the Balkans all the way to Portugal.

The perfect pair: Prosciutto and Wine.

Red and full-bodied white wines pair well with prosciutto. I personally recommend Cabernet Franc.
The grape variety of the same name from France is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, creating some of the most famous Bordeaux wines. That is why Cabernet Franc has always intrigued me as a varietal wine.

At my tasting performances, which I’ve named Gustare Momentum, I offer and present exclusively hand-sliced prosciutto from a selected region to my guests. Alongside it, I recommend pairing it with my favorite wine variety, cabernet franc.
